SOME MOMENTUM'S FROM LAST RETREATS
SHAMANIC PLANT DIET
In the shamanic tradition of the Amazon, the shaman learns and collects his wisdom directly from the spirit of the plants, going through a very restrict diet by drinking preparations made of this medicinal plants and eating only certain foods.
The term plant dieta refers to this ancient process, when one dives into the rainforest in deep contemplation to become a healer, a shaman, to gain vision and become a better human being. The other reason one does “la dieta” is the focus on the physical, psychological and emotional healing; to re-balance the body, mind and spirit or to overcome illness.
You will participate in five traditional healing ceremonies along with the plant dieta, as shamans and spiritual seekers have undertaken in complete isolation in the jungle for specific periods of time.
Dieting with plants opens the consciousness of each one of us, stimulates personal growth and spiritual awakening. It clarifies the mind, inspires lucid dreaming, facilitates meditation and unlocks intuition, unveiling the immense spiritual world and wisdom.
It’s a rare opportunity to connect deeper to the plant spirit medicine that will guide you into a deeper connection with your soul.
Its ceremonial use is ancient. The oldest known object related to it is an engraved cup, found in the Amazon around 500 BC, shows that it has been used as a sacrament for at least 2,500 years.
We are grateful for all the shamans, , vegetalistas, and healers that have preserved these ancient traditions and shamanic practices.
All disease is merely a manifestation of an imbalance (or dis-ease). Teacher Plants works to diagnose and restore balance, therefore facilitating holistic healing far beyond the frontiers of conventional treatment.
PLANET EARTH MEDICINE
Teacher Plants are a gift to Humanity that reminds us that our Planet is our home. When we deeply heal our soul we recognize and honour that we belong to the Earth.
